At DIG IT DOGS we believe Basic Obedience is key for a happy and healthy relationship between you, your dog, and your entire family. We teach you and your pup simple behaviors like sit, down, stay, come, and leave it. We consider these commands essential for a well-behaved pet. In addition, we work on sit-stay and use distractions during our classes. You can challenge your dog even more by teaching them more advanced behaviors like “go to place,” formal heeling, proper thresholds, etc. Maybe you’ve got a new puppy (5 months and older) who needs to learn the definition of good behavior. Maybe your adult dog is ready to pick up some new skills. Either way, you’ve got dog training in your future—and basic obedience training is a great place to start.
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Michelle is here to share everything you need to know about dog obedience training, from guides to all the basic commands to training tips and more. Basic Obedience training at DIG IT DOGS meets once a week for 6 weeks.
When: Class typically meets on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Contact us for the next scheduled class.
